The mapping process in details
To open the mapping interface press on the menu button in the top left corner (3 stripes) when you are on the home screen and the select Mapping.
You need to go through 3 steps when mapping your course.

Step 1
Selecting Tracking Group by clicking the book like icon in the top right corner of the screen
Step 2
Select Element and press [Add/Start] (Make sure that you physically are standing at the startpoint of the element you want to map)
Step 3
Walk around the element you want to map and press [Finish] when you are done
You can, at any time, turn on the [Follow Me] feature, then the App will automatically make sure that your position is always shown on your screen.
So if you move your physical position outside the screen, the map on your screen will automatically pan to your position
